Job Responsibilities: • Responsible for coordinating and leading the activities of a group to provide cabin services as required. • Responsible for cabin service cleaning activities as assigned. • Perform all essential duties of cabin service such as wiping down all surfaces of galleys and lavatories. • Remove all refuse from containers, ashtrays, seat pockets and floors. • Wipe down all seat trays, remove debris from seats and arrange seat pocket items as required by the various airlines. • Operate machinery used in the cleaning process; trucks, vacuum cleaners/, generators, and PTO hydraulics. • Perform cosmetic arrangement of seat belts, headrests, etc. • Replenish aircraft catering and toiletry supplies as required by certain airlines. • Fold and distribute blankets throughout aircraft. • Drive and position hydraulic lift truck as required. • Know and comply with all safety policies and procedures • Assist in scheduling of employees. • Must be able to meet the Station’s attendance standards. • Briefs crew before flights on positions to take and how flight will work • Responsible for push back and communications with the flight crew during push back • Oversees cabin cleaning crew paperwork • Other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements: • Must have a High School diploma, GED • Must be at least 18 years of age • Capable of processing information in a timely manner • Must have and maintain a Valid California Driver’s License • Able to proficiently speak, read, and write in English • Basic computer literacy • Previous ramp or airline experience • Must successfully complete all training requirements and maintain certifications throughout employment • Must clear a FBI finger print background check and obtain a custom seal • Must pass pre-employment drug screen Physical Requirements: • Must be physically fit to perform duties of the job including but not limited to standing, lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time • Capable of repetitively lifting to 70 pounds in confined spaces and repetitively • Willing to work outside in all types of weather conditions with exposure to loud noises Work Environment: • Able to work and focus in a fast-paced environment • Must be detail oriented • Must always be safety-minded while working • Effectively communicates instructions, policies, and procedures in a manner others can follow • Provide positive and constructive feedback • Maintains an understanding of and follows all applicable federal, state, airport, and company regulations, policies and procedures Specific Working Hours • Must be able and flexible to work variable shifts, weekends, and holidays • Specific shifts to be determined • Must be able to work extended hours on short notice during non-routine operations GAT Airline Ground Support, as an equal opportunity employer, makes hiring decisions based on business needs and the best-qualified candidates available and does not discriminate in its employment decisions based on any protected category.
