Today GAT serves fifteen cities throughout the United States, providing under wing, passenger screening and skycap services to the airlines, both scheduled and charter.  Other services include aircraft maintenance, cargo operations management, aircraft cleaning (exterior/interior), ground transportation, GSE support, and other various aviation related services.

GAT has built a reputation in the industry of providing the highest quality service to their customers. Each person on staff has been provided full training which exceeds FAA and airline standards. GAT maintains full compliance with its customers policies and procedures as well as any participating governmental agencies.

Ms Raines and Mr Baggett have and continue to be an integral part in GAT Airline Ground Support as the owners in a company that has grown over the years from a local aviation services company to a national company covering from coast to coast and servicing all major and regional carriers in all aspects of the airline industry.  Both of their leadership continues to keep GAT as a force in the aviation business, offering quality service in all areas.

GAT was formed as a branch of a fixed-based operation in Mobile, Alabama in 1963 to provide aviation ground support.  Since that time GAT has developed a successful business relationship with major carriers across the United States.  In response to our customers’ request, GAT provides a broad range of support services including ticket counter and gate passenger processing, ramp operations, cabin services, skycap, cargo, airport customer service, charter screening, GSE maintenance, janitorial and security services. 

Today GAT provides a varied combination of these services to our airline customers in 15 locations.  GAT’s management philosophies include a high degree of owner involvement, innovative and successful safety strategies, and operational responsiveness.

As a Woman Owned business Ms Raines is actively involved in organizations to promote diversity with business and in business.


History

GAT was formed as a branch of a fixed-based operation in Mobile, Alabama in 1963 to provide aviation ground support.  Since that time, GAT has grown into a quality-driven airline service company, developing successful business relationships with major carriers across the United States.  In response to our customers’ request, GAT now provides a broad range of airline support services including ticket counter and gate passenger processing, ramp operations, cabin services, skycap, cargo handling, charter screening, GSE maintenance, janitorial and security services.   

Today, GAT provides a varied combination of these services to our airline customers in 17 locations nationwide.  GAT’s management philosophies include a high degree of owner and senior management involvement, innovative safety strategies, positive employee relations, as well as focused operational and service responsiveness.

 

GAT is an NWBOC and WBENC certified Women Owned Business.

 

Senior management possess over 200 years of cumulative experience in aviation services and operations management.  This includes significant hub experience with major and regional airline operations.
